cabinet art glass to be restored and remodeled

Our client wanted to convert a historic Chicago 2-flat into a single residence home. The building had a built-in dining room cabinet with art glass in the doors in each of the 2 original residences. All of the cabinet art glass had been poorly made and maintained and was in dilapidated and distressed condition.

We were asked to restore 4 panels that would be reinstalled in the cabinet that would remain in the new dining room. The second cabinet was removed and the 4 panels from it were restored and remodeled into a single large panel. The new large panel is now a window between the home's new mudroom and modern kitchen.
