Mt. Moriah M.B. Church stained glass dome frameRemoving the old stained glass was like working in a coal mine. Nearly 100 years of coal dust, soot and general dirt had accumulated on both the top and bottom of the glass and frame. While preparing the frame to be repainted we also discovered that the openings were highly irregular in size. This would have to be taken into account when restoring the panels so that they would fit back into the original frame. |
