Before reassembling the panels, glazing forms had to be constructed so that the panels would be the same shape as the frame. Essentially, we were building a giant stained glass lamp and had to determine the original curvature of the panels before we could restore them. This was made more difficult because none of the original panels were in their original shape when removed from the frame. In the end, our restored panels fit perfectly.
